James G. Wolf, CFA

Director

James Wolf has been a director of the company since 2015 and chairs its compensation committee. Formerly the Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Wolf has over 35 years of experience as a valuation professional having worked with senior executives, CFOs, CEOs, and Boards, advising on matters surrounding valuations, transactions, strategic financial alternatives, financial reporting, tax, and regulatory matters. Mr. Wolf’s experience ranges from entrepreneurial enterprises to fortune 500 companies and large global clients across diverse industries, including financial services and asset management. Mr. Wolf has participated in and supervised valuation and strategic finance engagements for potential acquisitions or sales, including fairness opinions, reorganizations and recapitalizations, international tax transactions, gift and estate taxes, and financial reporting, including allocations of purchase price and employee stock ownership plans/trusts. Mr. Wolf has also assisted clients in decision analysis for capital allocation, merger and acquisition activity, and value driver analyses. His international experience includes leadership roles in joint global valuation projects in Germany, France, Russia, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Australia. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Wolf was with Ernst & Young LLP for almost 30 years, where he served as Principal in the Transaction Advisory Services New York Office, U.S. Fairness Opinion Leader for Valuation and Business Modeling, Global Liaison and Chief Operations Officer of Americas Valuation and Business Modeling, Managing Partner for Center for Strategic Transactions, and Market Leader for Valuation and Business Modeling in both Houston and Chicago, successfully growing those offices. Mr. Wolf also served as Coordinating Valuation & Business Modeling Partner for several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to his tenure at Ernst & Young, Mr. Wolf served as a Vice President in the trust department for a major bank in the Southwest and as an investment/financial analyst for an insurance holding company.

Mr. Wolf received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds the CFA designation, and memberships to New York Society of Security Analysts, the CFA Institute, and the American Society of Appraisers(ASA). Mr. Wolf has lectured on valuation methodology and served on several committees, including Ernst & Young’s Global Steering Committee for Valuation and Business Modeling, U.S. Valuation and Business Modeling Leadership Group, and Valuation and Business Modeling Equity Risk Premium Committee. In addition to his current role, Mr. Wolf is a member of the board of directors of a biopharmaceutical company, and chairs its audit committee.
